THE ISM CONCERT WEEK EXPERIENCE
Our concerts are short in duration and held at ISM in our Early Childhood/Vocal Studio - showcasing student achievement, and encouraging the development of performance skills. Building performance skill contributes to the development of confidence and self-esteem, which are qualities we cultivate and value in life, not just in music! Students, teachers, parents and families look forward to Concert Week each year.

At ISM, it is important to us that all performers have a positive concert experience. We achieve this by consistent practice and a safe performance space, and the knowledge that we can keep going through mistakes and that these mistakes do not define us. Perfect performances are wonderful, and sometimes we do have those 'magic moments' in our concerts - we can feel goosebumps and intense stillness in the audience when we are all present to something really special. Perfection, however, is strictly not one of our focus points. Improvement, collaboration, confidence and a willingness to share our talents -- this is what we value and praise. We are proud of all our students and love to celebrate them.

Each year we present all performers with a concert certificate and bag badge, as well as one of the famous concert cookies (made with love by local business Sparkle Bake & Pop)!
